Cancellation, Refund and Modification Policy
IguaGo, registered under CNPJ nº 64.195.023/0001-81, establishes this Cancellation, Refund and Modification Policy in accordance with applicable Brazilian legislation, including the Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8.078/1990). By booking our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. Right of Withdrawal (7 Days)
In accordance with Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, customers may cancel their booking within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of purchase, provided the booking was made online or outside a physical establishment.
- Full refund (100%)
- No fees or penalties
- Applicable only if the service has not yet been performed
2. Extended Cancellation Policy (Up to 15 Days After Purchase)
As a courtesy, IguaGo offers an extended cancellation period of up to 15 (fifteen) calendar days after purchase, provided that:
- The service has not been used, partially or fully
- The scheduled tour date is not within 7 days
- No operational commitments have made the booking non-refundable
In such cases, refunds may be subject to reasonable and proportional deductions, including:
- Administrative fees
- Operational costs already incurred
- Payment processing fees
- Non-refundable third-party services
3. Cancellations After 15 Days
Cancellation requests made after 15 days from purchase may be subject to partial or total retention of the paid amount, depending on:
- Proximity to the tour date
- Nature of the services booked
- Third-party supplier policies
4. Last-Minute Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 7 (seven) days prior to the scheduled service may be considered non-refundable. At IguaGo’s discretion, rescheduling may be offered subject to availability.
5. No-Show Policy
Failure to appear at the agreed date, time, and location without prior notice will be considered a no-show.
- No refunds will be issued
- Full amount will be retained
6. Modifications and Rescheduling
Requests for changes are subject to availability and may include additional charges. IguaGo does not guarantee rescheduling during high-demand periods.
7. Cancellation by IguaGo
IguaGo reserves the right to cancel or modify services due to:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Safety concerns
- Force majeure or unforeseen circumstances
In such cases, customers may choose between:
- Full refund, or
- Rescheduling
8. Refund Process
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Processing time may vary depending on financial institutions or payment providers.
9. Third-Party Services
IguaGo may act as an intermediary for third-party services (transportation, tickets, guides, etc.).
- Third-party policies may apply
- Non-refundable third-party costs will not be reimbursed
10. Customer Responsibilities
- Arrive on time at the designated meeting point
- Provide valid documentation (including for international crossings)
- Ensure booking details are correct
Failure to comply may result in loss of service without refund.
11. General Provisions
This policy may be updated at any time, respecting confirmed bookings. Any disputes shall be governed by Brazilian law.
