Terms & Conditions

Please read this page before booking. It explains how our tours work, what we're responsible for, and what to expect if something goes wrong.

1. Who We Are

IguaGo is operated by IguaGo Turismo, a registered tour operator under Brazilian law, CNPJ 64.195.023/0001-81, headquartered at R. Leonardo Almeida, 1056 – Lot. Witt, Foz do Iguaçu – PR, 85862-555, Brazil.

By booking a tour with us, you enter into an agreement directly with IguaGo Turismo, subject to the terms described on this page.

2. Nature of the Activity

Our tours include outdoor and adventure activities — walking on uneven trails and, on select tours, helicopter flights and boat rides — that involve inherent risks beyond our control, including uneven terrain, weather conditions, water currents, and aviation-related risks.

We work to minimize these risks through experienced guides, licensed third-party operators (for boat and helicopter services), and safety briefings before each activity. However, no outdoor tour can eliminate risk entirely, and by booking you acknowledge and accept this.

3. Eligibility & Group Composition

Every group booking must include at least one responsible adult aged 18 or older. This adult is responsible for all minors in the group throughout the tour, including during boat and helicopter activities.

Our guides are trained to assess whether an activity is suitable for each member of the group and will instruct guests accordingly regarding any health conditions that could be affected by trail walking, boat motion, or altitude. Specific age and health restrictions for boat and helicopter activities are described in the Frequently Asked Questions section of each tour's product page.

4. Company Liability

IguaGo coordinates guides, private transportation, and third-party service providers (including boat operators such as Macuco Safari and helicopter operators) on your behalf. Boat and helicopter services are operated by independent, licensed third parties, and are subject to those providers' own safety protocols and terms.

IguaGo's responsibility is limited to the services we directly control: guide assignment, transportation logistics, and tour coordination. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, park closures decided by park authorities, third-party operator decisions, or acts of God. Even so, if any of these events prevent your tour from happening as planned, we will provide a full refund — no complications.

All IguaGo guides are trained and prepared to provide first aid whenever needed.

5. Our Guarantee to You

We're committed to being there for you, exactly as booked. In the rare instance that IguaGo does not deliver as promised — for example, your guide or driver not arriving — we provide a full refund of your tour price, no questions asked.

6. Conduct During the Tour

All guests are expected to follow their guide's instructions at all times, particularly regarding safety equipment, boat and helicopter boarding procedures, and trail behavior.

7. Weather & Itinerary Changes

Our tours run rain or shine, and ponchos are provided. In the rare event that weather conditions are severe enough to significantly affect the experience, or if park authorities close access to the falls, you may choose between a full refund or rescheduling your tour, as described in our cancellation policy.

Minor itinerary adjustments (order of stops, timing) may occur based on park conditions, crowd levels, or guide judgment, without affecting the total value or inclusions of your tour.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

For full details on cancelling or rescheduling your tour, please see our Cancellation & Refunds policy.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be submitted to the courts of the Comarca de Foz do Iguaçu, State of Paraná, Brazil.
